Process Editor

The Process Editor enables the user to enter new processes into the system or make changes to existing ones.  A process record consists of a name and an associated emissions data set.  An emissons data set is the data that is output from Emission Master and includes basic information such as equipment tag data, vent ID information, unabaited emissions, controlled emissions, and other relavent information for the process.

When the Process Editor is used to define a new process for the current Process Group then the emissions data that is imported for this new process record will normally be used to define the emissions for all batches that will later be entered for this process.  For pilot plant operations the actual batch may have been run differently than the original process modeling.  If this is the case then replacement emissions can be declared at the time that the batch record is being entered.

Process Editor Features

Load Process File: Import emissions data (*.csv) that has been exported from Emission Master based on process modeling.  When an emissions data file has been imported into the Process Editor Window then several information fields are displayed based on the modeling that was performed in Emission Master.  From the title page of the original Emission Master source file the presenter will display the file name, product, modeling or evaluation date, and the process step.
Associate Existing Process:  If emissions data has been previously imported then it may be associating with this process record.    Selecting this button will open dialog window where you can select from any of the previously imported data files.
Details Button:  The Details button is made available once emissions data has been imported or associated internally.  It enables the user to be able to view emissions data for each process activity that was contained in the source process recipe file.
