Swap Compounds

       The Swap Compounds command in the Tools menu allows you to substitute a different compound for an existing compound in all process activities.

Basic instructions for each compound in the currently opened process that needs to be swapped for new compound from the Chemical database.  

(1)  Select the compound that is to be replace using the left pull-down menu. 

(2)  Select the new compound from the Chemical database on the pull-down menu on the right. 

Additional comments.

*  It's always a good idea to back up the current Emission Master file before proceeding to swap compounds. 

*  Any number of compounds in the current process may be swapped. 

*  Once the selections have been made and the OK button have been selected then Emission Master will implement the compound changes as requested.  In some cases, a calculation error will result depending upon the vapor pressure of the replacement compound.  In cases where there is a heating step then it could be possible that the target temperature may result in a calculated vapor pressure that is greater than the system pressure.
