Report Classification Sets

Most environmental regulations refer to emissions in terms of compound classification.  For example, an environmental compliance report may require that VOC emissions be less than a specified level for the past twelve months.  Other reports may feature the total NOx or HAPs emissions.  Emissions Accountant provides a way that specific classifications can be included within the report using Report Classification Sets.

A Report Classification Set is a collection of user selected classifications from the classifications database.  Once a Report Classification Set has been associated with a specific report then all compounds that are included within the process emissions will be grouped and listed based on the Report Classification Set.

The following example is a Report Classification Set that is currently used for the Title V Report:

Title V Report Classification

VOC (total)

NOx

CO

SO2

TSP (total)

PM10 (total)

Pb

HAPs (total)

Some of the New Jersey DEQ reports require the following Report Classification Set:

NJ DEQ

Total Particulate

Biological

Radionuclide

CR+6

Metal

etc...

Total VOC

VCM

TVOS

EVOS

etc.
